four of us booked up lake albert for a week and had a great time. just after a couple of hours from setting everything up and casting out bill had a lovely 35 pound common followed by a 33 pound mirror, then dave had a couple of 15 pounds followed by a 29 then a 27 then 33 and best of all a 40 pound 2 oz smashing his p.b three times. ronnie caught his first fish ever a 17 pound common then to top it of on the last day of fishing he had a 27 pound. kev was,nt so lucky!!! he caught! but we won,t go in to that. rod (uncle albert) made our holiday he was helpful and a great laugh and kept on going on about my diablo ( sandwich toaster) so at the end of our trip i presented him with it on the promise i can use it when we go back in oct 2010. so once again thanks for a fantastic holiday and i will see you soon uncle albert. dave.

I have the book which is a great read, the above is very informative and I'm looking forward to trying out some of your ideas over the coming months. And The best beginner book on fly fishing that was recommended to me over 30 years ago was "The Curtis Creek Manifesto" still just as relevant and a good read for every beginning fly fisherman.
